Use the calendar views
Switch Tasks to Calendar with the toggle at the top-right. Every contact’s page also has a Calendar tab showing just that person’s items (week view).
The calendar shows your tasks, calls, and meetings. Logged items — notes, email, LinkedIn messages — never appear. Filter by type with the Tasks / Calls / Meetings chips; move with Prev / Today / Next and switch spans with month / week / day. The view, date, and span are in the URL.
Seven columns, up to four chips per day, then +N more (the popover loads the full day). Click a day number to jump to that day.
Week and day
Section titled “Week and day”Two rails above a scrollable 24-hour grid that opens on business hours: an all-day rail, and beneath it a tasks rail. Overlapping timed items split into side-by-side columns; a red line marks the current time on today.
Tasks never sit on the hour grid. A task is due by a date, not at a time, so it lives on its own rail whatever time is stored on it, and no task chip prints a time anywhere. Calls and meetings keep their times. The task rail shows four per day and scrolls (with a visible scrollbar, so “4 of 10” never reads as “that’s all”), and it appears on every day, including empty ones, because you can drop onto it.
Reschedule by dragging
Section titled “Reschedule by dragging”Drag a chip to another day (month) or to another hour slot or day column (week / day, snapping to 15 minutes). The change applies immediately and rolls back if the server refuses. Completed items do not drag. A task dropped anywhere — even on the hour grid — only changes its date; its stored time is left alone.
Right-click
Section titled “Right-click”- On a chip → Edit and Delete (Delete confirms; Admins). Marking done and snoozing stay on the Tasks list, which is built for triage.
- On empty space in a day → New activity here (the Schedule dialog with Meeting preselected and the date filled — in day view, the clicked time slot too) and Open day. Hovering a day cell also reveals a + in its corner, and a plain click on empty space in day view creates there.
Right-clicking never starts a drag, so the menu and dragging do not fight.
