Work with contacts
Contacts is the list you will live in. It opens on All contacts — every contact in the workspace, newest first, 25 per page — unless your Admin has pinned a different default view.
The header
Section titled “The header”- Filter — opens a field / operator / value picker; active filters render as removable chips, and the button shows how many are on. See Lists and saved views.
- + New — opens Quick Create.
- Import — the CSV and LinkedIn import wizard (Contacts only).
- Export — downloads a CSV honoring the current filters, sort, and columns.
- View tabs — “All contacts” plus your saved views; + saves the current filter and sort as a new view.
The columns
Section titled “The columns”The default order is Name · Email · Phone · Company · Owner · Links · Date Added · Temperature · Source · Stage. Drag column edges to resize, drag headers to reorder, and use the Columns panel to show, hide, or reset them — the layout is remembered per device. The header row stays pinned while you scroll.
- Name shows the contact’s captured LinkedIn photo (initials when there is none) and opens the contact page.
- Email opens the in-app composer pre-addressed to the contact, so the email lands on their timeline. (If you have no send-capable mailbox connected, it is a plain mail link instead.)
- Phone is a tap-to-call link; Company opens the company record.
- Temperature, Source, and Stage are colored badges you can click to edit: a popover lists the field’s options (an unset cell shows a dashed ”+ Source”-style placeholder). Temperature and Source offer Clear; Stage does not — a contact cannot move to “no stage” — and retired stages are never offered. Where your Admin allowed it, the popover also has ”+ Add {field}…” to add a new option on the spot.
The right-click menu
Section titled “The right-click menu”Right-click a row (or a selection of rows) for: Open, Open in new tab, Copy link, Copy field, Email, LinkedIn, Move to stage, Assign owner, a Set … quick-set for each dropdown your Admin flagged (Set Source, Set Temperature, …), Add task, Add note, and — for Admins — Delete. When you right-click a selected row, the action applies to the whole selection. Read Only users see Open and Copy.
Selecting rows
Section titled “Selecting rows”Tick the checkboxes to select rows. Admins see a bulk bar with Delete N records (confirmed; deleted records are recoverable by the platform team).
