What guests see, and what happens after a booking
The booking page
Section titled “The booking page”A guest sees your name, what they are booking, and available times in their own timezone, named. Nothing else: no email address of yours, no titles from your calendar, nothing about your day beyond when you are free. They enter a name, an email, and answers to any questions you asked, and book.
A time is free when it is inside your weekly hours, not within an existing CRM call or meeting, and not busy on your connected calendar. An event you marked Free, an invitation you declined, and an all-day event do not block; a Busy one does. If two people pick the same time, exactly one wins and the other is told the time was just taken and shown a fresh grid.
The confirmation
Section titled “The confirmation”The guest receives a confirmation email — with a Join the video call block when the event type carries a link — and, if you have two-way calendar sync, a real calendar invitation from Google or Outlook with the link as its location. Without a two-way calendar, the confirmation carries an .ics file instead. Replying to the confirmation reaches you.
In the CRM
Section titled “In the CRM”- A contact is created (or matched by email to one you already have) at your funnel’s landing stage, and the meeting lands on their timeline and your Tasks.
- A link you inserted from a contact’s record attaches the booking to that person even if they booked from a different address.
- Moving the meeting in the CRM moves the booking — drag it on the calendar, edit its date, or snooze it — and the guest is told. There is still one meeting afterwards; the old time becomes bookable and the new one does not.
- Deleting the meeting cancels the booking properly — the guest gets a cancellation rather than a bare calendar withdrawal, and their link stops offering to reschedule.
The guest’s manage link
Section titled “The guest’s manage link”From their email the guest can cancel with no account — that always works while the meeting is ahead — or reschedule, which needs you to still be set up to take bookings.
Every dead link looks the same
Section titled “Every dead link looks the same”Wrong workspace, wrong person, wrong event type, a host who is no longer enabled, a paused workspace, the feature switched off — all show the same plain not-found page. That is on purpose: a stranger must not be able to map who your customers are.
