LinkedIn settings

Settings → LinkedIn (/settings/linkedin) has two audiences on one page. Every Member and Admin sees the per-user Your extension section — the Chrome Web Store link and their own capture tokens (see Enter your capture token). Admins additionally see the workspace controls below. A Read Only user does not see the page: their role cannot capture.

For an Admin the page is six collapsible sections — Your extension, Workspace features, Signals, Account-risk consent, Newsfeed, and Rep capture health. Each heading carries a one-line summary of its state, such as “Capture on · 3 of 8 features on”, so you can read the page without opening anything. The first two start open, the page remembers which sections you leave open on this device, and the Jump to section links under the title open and scroll to any of them.

Every feature toggle is off until you switch it on.

The master switch. Until it is on, every user’s Generate token button is disabled — you are told to flip this toggle, and a Member is told to ask you. Turn it on first, then have each rep install the extension and generate a token.

Beneath it, the Rep capture health card shows each teammate as connected or not, their token count, and when their extension last captured — the quickest way to see who is set up. See No captures yet for what to do about a rep who is not.

Lets reps draft LinkedIn and Sales Navigator replies in the CRM and hand them to LinkedIn’s compose box (how it works). Turning it on opens an account-risk consent dialog; the switch commits only after I understand and accept. The consent records who accepted, from where, and when. Withdraw consent turns it back off.

Drives the Newsfeed and each contact’s Posts tab. Consent-gated like Reply. The To-Review window beside it (default 14 days, 1–90) is how far back the Newsfeed’s default queue reaches.

Reply templates, Follow-up reminders, Scheduled send

Section titled “Reply templates, Follow-up reminders, Scheduled send”

Turn on the composer’s Templates picker (email templates are available whenever a rep has a send-capable mailbox, regardless), the Remind me control, and email Send later respectively.

The master switch for the Signals inbox — this is the consent moment. When on, a sub-panel exposes:

  • Per-kind toggles — on by default: comment, mention, reshare, reaction, profile view, invitation accepted, new follower; off by default: milestone.
  • Network activity — capture your network engaging on other people’s posts, with a dependent Posts toggle.
  • Linked LinkedIn accounts — the identities reps have claimed with This is Me (a rep sees their own; you see the whole workspace).

A placeholder for a future capability; the toggle records consent only.

Toggling a feature updates the sidebar and composers for everyone live — Newsfeed and Signals appear or disappear from the sidebar the moment you switch them.
