Search and keyboard shortcuts
The command palette
Section titled “The command palette”Click the search box in the top bar, or press Cmd/Ctrl+K, to open the command palette. Start typing:
- Contacts, Companies, and Deals are searched live, with results grouped by type.
- A Navigation group filters the pages you can open.
- A Create group offers New contact / company / deal and the activity types.
You only see result groups and Create items your role permits. Campaigns are not in global search yet — open them from the sidebar.
One-key shortcuts
Section titled “One-key shortcuts”With nothing focused and no dialog open, single keys create things without opening the palette:

They do nothing while you are typing in a field or while any dialog, menu, or palette is open, and they ignore modifier combinations, so your browser’s own shortcuts are untouched. Each key follows the same permissions as the New menu — 3 needs Deals to be switched on, for example.
