No captures yet
What you are seeing: the extension is installed and has a token, but the Rep capture health card shows no last-capture time for you, Home’s “To review” tiles say Not checked yet, or Signals shows its nothing captured yet state.
Why: the extension only captures while you browse LinkedIn. It never fetches anything on its own, so until you open a LinkedIn page with the extension running, there is nothing to send.
Make the first capture
Section titled “Make the first capture”- In the browser with the extension installed and your token saved, open any LinkedIn profile (
linkedin.com/in/…). - Look at the bottom-left of the page: an Add to CRM or ✓ In CRM pill means the extension is running on the page.
- Wait a minute — captures are sent in batches about every 60 seconds.
To feed a specific queue: open your notifications page for Signals (after claiming your identity with This is Me), or a contact’s recent activity page for the Newsfeed, or a messaging thread for their Conversations.
How to tell it worked
Section titled “How to tell it worked”- A small ✓ synced or captured badge appears at the bottom-left of the LinkedIn page.
- On Settings → LinkedIn, your token’s last used date updates, and the Admin’s health card shows a last-capture time for you.
- The extension’s options page, Capture status → Refresh, shows the last sync time and an empty queue.
If nothing appears
Section titled “If nothing appears”- The pill is missing on every profile → the extension is not running here. See Extension not installed or Extension mismatch.
- The badge says paused — this page isn’t recognized → LinkedIn changed that page’s layout; a diagnostic has already gone to the platform team. Other pages keep working.
- The options page shows a last error → note it and send feedback with a screenshot.
