The contact page
Open a contact from any list, board, search result, or link. The page has three panes (they stack on a narrow window).
Left pane — who they are
Section titled “Left pane — who they are”- Avatar, name, job title, company link, then an action row: Contact details (an ID-card icon that opens every field in one dialog — long fields such as About grow as you type, and expanding the dialog with the arrows icon shows a long About in full), Email (opens the in-app composer), Call, LinkedIn, and Sales Nav. A link’s styling tells you whether it works: a contact known only by LinkedIn ID still gets a working Sales Nav link; a genuinely dead link is muted, and the tooltip explains what has not been captured yet.
- About — email, phone, job title, company, location, source, and temperature. The email address is a click-to-compose link; the small pencil beside it is where you edit the address.
- Owner — a picker of active teammates plus “Unassigned.” A former teammate who still owns the record shows as “(inactive).”
- LinkedIn — the profile URL (editable), the member ID (read-only, managed by the extension), and the Sales Navigator ID. These rows are hidden by default; an Admin can unhide them under Entities and fields.
- Lead scoring and any custom fields.
Editing: dropdowns and checkboxes save the moment you pick (“Saves on select · Esc to cancel”); text fields save on blur or Enter. Where your Admin allowed it, a dropdown also offers ”+ Add {field}…”. Stage is not a field here — the pipeline rail on the right is the stage control.
Center pane — what has happened
Section titled “Center pane — what has happened”The tabs are Activity · Conversations · Posts · Tasks · Calendar · Notes · Files. The active tab is in the page URL (?tab=…), so refresh, back, and a link you share all land on the same tab.
- Activity — Focus (open to-dos) above History (everything that already happened: completed to-dos plus every email, note, and LinkedIn message, any age). History is paged with a true total; the open To-do list is never paged, so open work is never hidden. Clicking a logged item (a note, an email, a message) opens it read-first at reading width, with clickable links. Email rows with attachments show a 📎 count.
- Conversations — email and LinkedIn / Sales Navigator messages, grouped into up to three collapsible regions (Email, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, in that order) with counts. The region holding the newest message opens; the rest start closed. See Inbox and conversations.
- Posts — the contact’s captured LinkedIn posts, with Refresh posts. Appears when Engagement is on. See Newsfeed and the Posts tab.
- Tasks and Notes — just those activity types.
- Calendar — this contact’s calls and meetings on a week view; drag to reschedule works here.
- Files — upload, download, and delete files on the record. See Files on a record.
Right pane — where they are in the funnel
Section titled “Right pane — where they are in the funnel”The pipeline rail shows the funnel’s stages as chips, colored and named from your workspace’s pipeline. Click a chip to move the contact there; the change applies immediately and rolls back if the server refuses. Below it: stage history, the related company, and tags.
If you land on “Contact not found”
Section titled “If you land on “Contact not found””The link points at a record that does not exist or that you cannot see. The notice offers a Back link; the navigation stays put.
