Message templates
Templates live under Settings → Message templates (/settings/reply-templates). The page appears when you have a send-capable mailbox connected, or when your Admin has switched the Reply templates feature on.
Create a template
Section titled “Create a template”- Click New template.
- Give it a Title, choose the Channel — Email (rich text) or LinkedIn (plain text); the channel is locked once saved — and write the Body.
- Email templates can carry attachments via the paperclip, within the same limits as the composer. See Attachments.
- Admins can tick Share with the team.
Anyone who can compose can create personal templates. Only Admins create, edit, or delete shared (team) templates — even the person who wrote one, once it is shared.
Insert a template
Section titled “Insert a template”In any composer, open the Templates picker. It offers templates for the channel you are composing in, plus New template… to create one on the spot for that channel. Inserting an email template also adds its attachments to the draft — a Member can insert a shared template’s files even though they cannot edit the template. Templates with files show a 📎 marker (with a count above one) in both the picker and the Settings list.
Edit from the picker
Section titled “Edit from the picker”Each template you are allowed to edit shows a pencil in the composer’s Templates picker, opening the same edit dialog — so a typo does not mean abandoning your reply. Members see the pencil on their personal templates only.
Editing attachments
Section titled “Editing attachments”In the edit dialog, removing a file chip takes effect on Save. Cancel never loses a template’s files.
