Members and roles

Settings → Members (/settings/members) lists everyone in the workspace with their name, email, role, status, and last sign-in. Admins only.

  1. Click Invite user.
  2. Enter their email (required), a full name (optional), and a role — Admin, Member, or Read Only. See Roles and permissions.
  3. The row appears with status invited (amber). It becomes active (green) on their first sign-in.

Invite the address they will sign in with. Sign in with LinkedIn matches on the email of the person’s LinkedIn profile, so if they use that door, invite that address.

Open the row’s ⋯ menu → Change role ▸ and pick the new role (the current one is disabled). It works on invited members too — for them it is the only menu entry. The change applies on the member’s next request; no re-sign-in. You cannot change your own role, and demoting the last active Admin is refused so a workspace always keeps one.

On any active or suspended row other than your own:

  • Suspend — they lose access on their next request. They keep their identity, so reactivating does not need a new sign-in. Their extension tokens are revoked and their email and calendar connections are soft-disconnected. The status badge turns red.
  • Reactivate — immediate, on a suspended row.
  • Remove — they lose access immediately and can only return with a fresh invite. Their records, notes, and history are kept. Re-inviting the same email brings the row back.

Status badges: active green, invited amber, suspended red. A suspended teammate’s open tab keeps working until their next request, then they are signed out.
